Programme May 2016

  • First day: The participants arrive to Zaragoza and attend a dinner/presentation.
  • Second day: Elaboration of tapas in the assigned restaurants with public tasting and voting. Visit to wine cellars with Aragonese denomnination of origin and wine tasting.
  • Third day: Elaboration of tapas in the assigned restaurants with public tasting and voting. Aragonese products tasting.
  • Fourd day : Guided tour of Zaragoza and its cultural heritage. Lunch with the participants. Professional workshop "Creative tapas" in Azafran Cooking School. Good-bye banquet and Award ceremony.

Prizes

The winners will be awarded with a trophy for:

  • Best Tapa Aragonesa, elaborated with local product.
  • Best International Tapa, elaborated with any product.

Jury

The Jury will be composed by professional members of the media, and members from the “Cafes y Bares Association”.

The customers tasting the “Tapas” in the selected restaurants will have the option of choosing the best “Tapa” through ballots.
